BlackBerry Inc., formerly Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM), has launched its new flagship Smartphone – BlackBerry Z10 in India for Rs.43,490. Blackberry Z10 will run the company’s latest Blackberry 10 OS and was unveiled globally few weeks back. The new Blackberry 10 OS comes with many new features like BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, Time Shift, BlackBerry 10 browser and so on.
BlackBerry Z10 will support 3G or HSPA+ networks in India. It sports a 4.2 inch Capacitive MultiTouch display that offers a resolution of 768×1280 pixels. The device houses a 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor alongside 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card. Other specs include a 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, Dual-band WI-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), NFC, Bluetooth v4. 0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, Micro HDMI port and a 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The BlackBerry Z10 will be available in over 2000 retail outlets across 50 cities in India. It comes in two colour options – White and Black. The device is priced at Rs.43,490 (~USD $810) in India.
