Nokia Asha 310 – Budget Friendly Dual SIM Smartphone with Wi-Fi Support

Nokia has announced a new budget friendly Dual SIM Smartphone in the Asha series. Dubbed as the Nokia Asha 310, the new Dual SIM Smartphone comes with Wi-Fi support, a first for Nokia Smartphones. The device features Nokia’s Easy Swap Dual SIM technology that allows users to change between up to five SIM cards in the external SIM slot without switching the phone off.

In a press release, the company’s executive vice president, Timo Toikkanen said, “The Nokia Asha 310 is the first-ever Nokia Smartphone to offer both Easy Swap Dual SIM and Wi-Fi in the same device. It gives consumers the best of both worlds, allowing them to separate work and play, or speak with friends on other mobile networks more affordably”


Nokia Asha 310 sports a 3-inch scratch-proof, capacitive touch screen and comes with 20MB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Other features include a 2MP rear camera, MicroUSB v2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS and a standard Li-Ion 1110 mAh battery that offers up to 17 hrs of talk time.

Like other Asha devices, Nokia Asha 310 is filled with apps and games. The company is offering 40 free EA games with pre-loaded apps like Xpress Browser, Facebook, Twitter, eBuddy, and Nokia Maps.
