ASUS has unveiled its latest 7-inch HD tablet at the Computex 2013 in Taipei. Dubbed as the MeMO Pad HD 7, the tablet possesses a 5MP rear camera with similar specs to that of Nexus 7.
ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 boasts a 7-inch wide-view angle IPS LED Backlight display with a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Internally, the device is equipped with a quad-core A7 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Under the hood it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with ASUS Waveshare UI.
It comes in two storage capacities, 8GB and 16GB with up to 32GB of MicroSD support. In addition, the company offers 16GB of ASUS WebStorage free for one year. There's a 5MP autofocus rear shooter and a 1.2MP front-facing one. It also packs high-quality stereo speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for an enhanced audio experience.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS. Other specs include micro USB port, audio jack, G-Sensor, E-compass, and Hall sensor. It houses a 15Wh Li-polymer battery that offers up to 10 hours of run time.

ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 will be available in various color options like White, Blue, Pink, Green, and Gray. The device is expected to ship starting this July 2013 at a suggested price of US$ 129 for an 8GB version and US$ 149 for a 16GB version.
