Samsung shows off the much awaited GALAXY NX camera at the Premiere 2013 press conference in London. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the GALAXY NX camera is claimed to be the first Compact System Camera (CSC) with interchangeable-Lens and 3G/4G LTE & Wi-Fi Connectivity.
Samsung GALAXY NX Camera packs a 20.3 MP APS-C CMOS image sensor, which is capable of capturing bright and detailed images even in low light conditions. The DRIMe IV Image Signal Processer provides enhanced speed and accuracy that is demanded today. It has a 4.8-inch HD TFT LCD display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad core processor alongside 2GB of RAM. For storage, it has 16GB of internal memory with up to 64GB MicroSD support.
Featuring 3G/4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, the GALAXY NX Camera allows users to share the photos and videos instantly with their world. The ‘Photo Suggest’ feature suggests location based recommendations of popular photography spots. The Advanced Hybrid Auto Focus (AF) System delivers accurate phase and contrast detection for quality image. The device also supports 1/6000 Sec shutter speed and 8.6fps shooting.
There are more than 30 Smart Modes, which lets the user to choose the optimum settings based on the environment. The ‘Multi Exposure’ feature produces a distinctive image by merging two different shots and the ‘Animated Photo’ creates a moving GIF file by capturing continuous shots of up to five seconds. Another unique feature known as the ‘Sound & Shot’ records voiced and sound when an image is captured.
