Leaked: 2nd Generation Google Nexus 7 Images, Specs and Release Date

Google Nexus 7 will see its successor shortly. The company is planning to unveil the second generation Nexus 7 devices on July 24th. The press images of the new Nexus 7 were leaked online, thanks to the Android Police. 

The images show a timestamp of 4.30, which denotes that the device will feature Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Further it comes with a new wallpaper, which is expected to be the default wallpaper in Android 4.3 OS.

Manufactured by ASUS, the new Nexus 7 will be equipped with a 5MP rear camera alongside 1.2MP front facing camera and also has an LED notification light. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, the device will flaunt a 7-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.

The 16GB Wi-Fi version is expected to be priced at $229, which the 32GB variant comes for $269. However, there's no word on the LTE version.
