A new Nexus 7 tablet alongside Nexus 4 has been spotted running on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS in the Chromium bug tracker. Both the devices carry a build number - KRS36B. The alphabet "K" in the build number hints that they run on Key Lime Pie. Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is expected to pack many new features like advanced file manager, video chat app, improve battery and startup time, and much more.

Google follows a pattern for framing the build number. The build number always starts with the first alphabet of the Android version name. It is to be noted that the new Nexus 7 tablet running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, that was unveiled recently, has a build number starting with alphabet "J" - JSS15J.

Google has now removed the Chromium bug tracker page. However Australian tech blog Ausdroid has taken a screenshot of the alleged bug tracker page. The Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is expected to be announced in October this year.
