Nokia is facing a stiff competition from Android Smartphone manufactures and has been struggling in the Smartphone market. The company is also facing an acquisition by Microsoft. To regain its lost glory, Nokia is working on a Tablet. The FCC has approved the alleged Nokia Tablet - RX-114.
The FCC filing hints that the new Tablet will come with LTE, GSM/EDGE and HSPA+ capabilities, and will work on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. The 167 page testing document is full of measurements and technical graphs, and there's no word on the device specifications. The word Tablet is mentioned only once in the entire filing and that to at the very end of the document.
Nokia is expected to show off its new Tablet at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd.
