The wait is over, Google and LG have officially announced the Nexus 5 Smartphone. It runs on Google's latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS and will be the slimmest and fastest Nexus phone ever made.
Nexus 5 flaunts a 5-inch (actual 4.95-inch) Full HD IPS (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 445 ppi, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is equipped with the top-of-the-line 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor alongside 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It ships in two storage options- 16GB and 32GB, and has no expansion support.
The device houses an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with OIS and LED flash. There's also a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Along with LTE compatibility, Nexus 5 offers DC-HSDPA, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. Other specs include 3.5mm stereo audio jack, built-in speaker, dual microphones, GPS and a 2,300 mAh battery that offers up to 17 hrs of talk time and 300 hrs of standby.

The Nexus 5 carries a price tag of $349 and is available without a contract on Google Play in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and Korea (and coming soon to India). It comes in Black and White colors to choose from.
