ASUS has unveiled its latest Smartphone-tablet hybrid - the Padfone Mini 4.3, at an event in Taipei, Taiwan. Running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, it's the first smartphone-tablet hybrid from ASUS with dual-SIM functionality.
ASUS Padfone Mini 4.3 dons a 4.3-inch Super IPS display with a qHD resolution of 960 × 540 pixels at 256 ppi. It packs a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. For storage, it has 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB using a MicroSD card.
There's an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the Padfone Mini 4.3 supports 3G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), USB 3.0 and Bluetooth V4.0. For navigation, it has GPS, GLONASS & AGPS.
The 4.3-inch Smartphone transforms to a 7-inch Tablet with the tablet dock. The docking station sports a 7-inch Super IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels at 216 ppi. The Padfone mini 4.3 houses a 1500 mAh battery, while the docking station packs a 2200 mAh battery. The phone can also be charged by docking it into the Padfone station.

The ASUS Padfone Mini 4.3 comes in Black, White and Pink color options. It carries a price tag of NT$ 11,990 (~USD $400) in Taiwan. The device will also launch in China, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.
