Oppo N1 Unveiled: World’s First Rotating Camera Smartphone with 5.9-inch 1080p IPS Display

Chinese handset manufacturer Oppo has announced the world's first rotating camera Smartphone last month. Dubbed as the Oppo N1, the 5.9-inch Phablet is launched in India for Rs.39,999.

The Oppo N1 sports a 5.9-inch full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 377 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor alongside 2GB of RAM. For storage, it has either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. Under the hood, the device runs on the company's own Android version called Color. As a limited edition, the Smartphone will be available with standard CyanogenMod OS.

The USP of this Smartphone is the rotating camera, which rotates 206 degrees and captures front shots with rear shots quality. The 13-megapixel sensor comes with a dedicated ISP and has six physical lenses and an f/2.0 aperture for clear photos in low light conditions. Rounding the specs are Adreno 320 GPU, 3G, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and a 3610 mAh battery.

Oppo N1 comes with innovative features like O-Touch and O-Click. The O-Touch feature allows users to control different functionalities of the device using a small square touch panel on the back. While the O-Click feature allows users to remotely operate the N1 camera and also helps to locate the misplaced Smartphone by setting off an alarm.
