LG Electronics has unveiled its first Smartphone in the new L Series III, which was announced at the MWC 2014. Dubbed as the LG L90, the new Smartphone comes with a unique feature called “Knock code” that is offered in premium Smartphones. Knock Code turn on and unlocks the phone by just tapping the screen with user created knock pattern.

LG L90 has a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels at 235 ppi. Internally, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-Core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) chipset, which is backed by 1GB f RAM. The device packs 8GB of internal memory and can be expanded to up to 32GB using a MicroSD card. Under the hood, it runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and offers the most up-to-date UX features.
“It offers the very best of LG in design, hardware, OS and UX features so 3G smartphone users worldwide will be able to enjoy a truly first-class smartphone experience,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile.

Rounding the specs are, Adreno 305 GPU, 8MP autofocus rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, 3G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB v2.0, FM radio with RDS, A-GPS support + GLONASS and 2,540mAh Li-Ion battery.

LG L90 will be available initially in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region followed by other markets. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
