Immediately after the announcement of Android Wear by Google, Motorola has unveiled the first Android Wear powered Smartwatch - the Moto 360. Built on premium materials, the Smartwatch come with a round face design, which gives it a traditional charm.
"The wristwatch has been through several evolutions since it first became a popular fashion accessory more than a 100 years ago," Motorola's CVP of Product Management, Lior Ron said in a blog post. "Our vision for Moto 360 was to celebrate that history as we re-imagined the wristwatch for the future."
Moto 360 alerts users of incoming calls, emails, calendar appointments and social media posts with just a twist of the wrist. It can respond to a voice command or questions by saying "OK Google". It also shows subtle alerts and notifications to users, when needed. Everything is done without having to take the mobile phone from the pocket.
Motorola has announced that the Moto 360 will be due out this summer, starting in the US. It will be available in variety of styles across the globe. The company is yet to reveal the pricing of the wearable.
