Lava Mobiles has unveiled the Iris 550Q, the company's latest mid-premium Phablet in its Iris series. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the handset supports dual-SIM functionality with 3G on both SIM.
Lava Iris 550Q flaunts a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display with OGS (one glass solution) technology. It is equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and backed by 1GB of RAM. In addition to 4GB of on-board storage space, it can hold up to 32GB of external memory using a MicroSD card.
At the rear, it sports 8-megapixel primary camera with flash and in the front lies a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The rear camera features BSI Sensor for shooting in low light conditions and can record videos at 1080p. Among the connectivity options, the Lava Iris 550Q includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS. The Phablet is powered by a 2,600mAh battery that offers up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G network.

The Lava Iris 550Q carries a price tag of Rs. 13,000 (~USD $218) in India. It will be available in Black color and would go on sale later this month. It also comes with a free flip cover.
